About

This web site is a personal experiment hosted on a Dell Wyse (running the Debian OS) sitting on a desk in my kitchen.

In the late 90s, I fostered an interest in computers, mostly web design or sys administration. I took a few classes at the University of Toledo for web and graphic design in the early to mid 2000s. After becoming competent with HTML, I attempted to pick up some form of programming language, starting with PHP in the early 2000s, then Python in the mid to late 2000s and into the 2010s. Now, I've taken a liking to Go. I've dabbled in other languages over the years, like C, Perl and Rust, but I've had varying levels of difficulty with these.

For the record, I have a "great" job but it has nothing to do with the aforementioned topic. I'm ever the hobbyist.
